Home Staging Tips for the Holidays
It’s often the little changes a homeowner makes that have a big positive effect. Whether actively selling your property, or you just want to make your home look extra special, follow my personal staging tips. I’d love to hear your tips, too!
“Ho Ho Ho! Less is more!”
If you're showing your home during December, group your holiday cards in a pretty basket and limit your decorations so buyers can appreciate each room.
In place of artificial décor, chose real floral arrangements made with fresh greenery - they look beautiful, and the evergreen scent is so nice - not naughty!
“Get a flat screen TV for your patio!”
Give the family what they really want for the holidays – outdoor TV's are the rage! Bring the inside fun outside with a flat screen TV for your deck or patio. Buyers love the idea of watching a show outside cuddled up in blankets…and so will you and your family! Your house will sell before the next commercial!
"Post-holiday clean-up - organize your items using CLEAR bins and CLEAR storage bags!”
While holiday shopping, be sure to purchase large, CLEAR, stackable bins with lids for your post-holiday clean-up. All your holiday décor can be put away and stacked neatly… Best of all, you’ll always be able to see the contents without ever having to open the bins. Now this is a gamechanger!”
